New energy vehicles have become the direction of the future development of the automobile industry. After a slow start in previous years, new models continue to enter the market, and governments' support policies and incentives for electric vehicles also vigorously promote the sales of electric vehicles, according to the statistics of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in 2017 China's new energy vehicle production and sales were 794,000 and 777,000, respectively. Year-on-year growth of 53.8% and 53.3%, respectively. Among them, the production and sales of passenger cars were 592,000 and 579,000, respectively, an increase of 71.9% and 72%. The production and sales of commercial vehicles were 202,000 and 198,000, respectively, up 17.4% and 16.3% year-on-year. Among the major countries with good electric vehicle development in the world, China has made the greatest progress, surpassing the United States to rank first in the world in 2017.
